Among the Saints

There is a difference,

between knowledge,

and knowing.

I know.

You can acquire knowledge.

But knowing is different.

It’s a grace.

You can read about the saints.

You can acquire knowledge about the saints.

But do you know when you’re among the saints?

For it’s in the way they walk.

The way they talk.

The way they wave.

And the way they sway.

On the altar.

Out in the bean field.

And in the darkness of the house in which they pray.

You know when you are among the saints.

So I thank God for showing me their way.
